Obituary for Margaret Lee Holliman

Margaret Lee Holliman, 92, of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services are 1 P.M. Thursday, June 14 at the Greenwood Church of God with interment in Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Michael Mooneyham will officiate. Visitation is from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the church.
Mrs. Holliman was born in Paris, TN to Morris and Grace Whitsell Bell, raised in Sarah, MS and had been a resident of the Greenwood area for many years. She retired after 25 years of service from Baldwin Piano Company. Margaret enjoyed being with family and friends. She especially enjoyed being around all of hergrandchildren and great grandchildren.
The widow of Everett Varner Holliman, she is also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jerry Wayne Bell and Morris C. Bell. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Carver (Albert) of Blackhawk, Barbara Jackson (Roy) of Greenwood, four sons, Mickey Holliman (April) of Carrollton, Jerry Holliman (Angela) of Orange Beach, AL, David Holliman (Kathy) of Grenada, Ricky Holliman (Lisa) of Yuba City, CA, two sisters, Mary Rose Stewart of Tupelo, Johnnie Roberts of Akron, OH, 29 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is also survived by three special nieces, Joyce, Dottie and Teresa Bell, and a special great nephew, Jon Colby Spruill.
Pallbearers will be Robin McCluskey, Mike Holliman, Mitch Holliman, David Holliman, Jr., Chad Holliman, Tyler Holliman, Tony Dunn and Jon Colby Spruill. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Walker, Alex Moak, Dr. Micah Walker, James David Jackson, Tony McCluskey and Noah Walker.
Memorials may be made to the Greenwood Church of God, 706 Brentwood, Greenwood, MS, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
